LOOKIT. IT IS REALLY LATE. This blog wasn't even going up tonight, except that I couldn't NOT write it. I'm on my phone so I'm sure the typos will be ridiculous. Sorry.
My Mom and I went into the CIty to see The King and I. It was just fantastic. The lead actress had the most lovely voice and everyone was great.
When we were kids, my sister and I used to listen to that album (yes, album) over and over. My big sister taught me how to polka to "Shall We Dance". You can't beat that it.
Im hoping to show The Girl the movie version with Deborah Kerr and Yul Brenner. Man that movie is great. Just turn it off after they dance the first time - you don't want to know what happens after that!
My mom made us watch all the old movies: An Affair to Remember, To Kill A Mockingbird, Meet Me in St. Louis, The Best Years of Our Lives and Arsenic and Old Lace. Growing up I was the only kid in 4th grade who knew who Deanna Durban was. Don't you love those old movies? What is your favorite?
